Raaga Terrain

When life was looking dull and drab, when it was getting stale, when it was getting boring, when things were looking blurred to me, when every sound seemed like noise to me,Thanks giving was one holiday which gave me all the joy I wanted,I had time to spend with my friends.Best of all was, I spent the whole week listening to music.Its a pleasure to be listening to all my friends sing.We had been to Ohio for Thanksgiving shopping.Antakshari started in the car when we were traveling back.Then the same evening, there was a "music jam" in one of my friend's place. I was also invited.I was previliged to be among some great musicians from Lexington. Each one with some special talent.All of them who was present there participated with great amount of enthusiasm.It was thoroughly an entertainment.We all started at 5 Pm and the session continued till 2:00 am the next morning. It was fun to be listening to all of them sing songs.The first few hours we had a light music session,later it was carnatic. Shubha and Aarthi's performance that evening was remarkable.The Raagam, thaalam and bhavam at its best.With Sujan accompanying the singers made the session a very memorable one. Making no mistakes, proving again that "Practice makes a man perfect". Their aura making the whole space vibrant and reverberating. It was real fun to be a part of the show.I am glad I got an opportunity to be there.
