A run through 2011....

2011, an year full of rich experiences, professional growth and personal growth. To be able to compromise or mend my ways to get my way, was the lesson learnt. Today I am a transformed man with whole new enthusiasm. For how my professional scene changed from one small scale industry to a medium scale unit, I am truly thankful to a few people. My mom and dad, who have considered giving me this opportunity as providing support, than a penalty for having me as their son, for which I am highly obliged. One super duper friend who took all the brunt from me and still kept smiling and made enormous efforts to bring smile on my face every day. I am thankful for your support too.

In March 2011, I was working as a vendor for an American based company, whose sister concern is located in Nacharam, Hyderabad. Van Mc Neil Precision Manufacturing Pvt Ltd, offered me an opportunity to take over their operations. Since we were in the same line of activity, which is, machining high precision components for various defence, automobile and medical sectors, and as I was always looking for an opportunity to grow, I grabbed this one. Initially it was difficult for me due to various reasons. It took time for the guys to accept me as their new boss, age politics, new style of operations and many more. Six months of efforts it took to build a team of 25 skilled youngsters. Moulding a couple of young guys to be the programmers from being operators, some technical helpers to good operators was an arduous task. I always believed in patience as the only key to the operator's hearts and minds. To be able to drive new ideas into their heads, was a herculean task. Today, I see a ray of hope in the company's growth. Although our outputs and revenues are not as high as what we expect, we have ensured that the company can look forward to a sustainable growth.

In October 2011, the company had a few jobs to take up and the output was Rs.30,000/-, while the pay off was up to Rs. 3 lakhs. End of October, We had a review meeting, which transformed the unit. We decided, profit or loss, we will take up jobs, to meet our pay off of Rs. 3 Lakhs/month. We started reviewing success rate of the number of orders received Vs no. of quotations submitted every month. By end of November, we had raised our Order book to One Crore Rupees, which was remarkable. Now, that the business development is done to a considerable amount, the technical team had to take over. The projects were very critical. It involved operators working for upto 2 months, night and day to prove the technical feasibility for manufacturing the components.

Continuous improvement, implement new quality systems, inspection techniques, production cycle time reduction, Failure analysis, post and pre-machining inspections, were some specific area that I worked on to be able to achieve both quality and delivery requirements.

Since we also believe that every aspect of the organization needs continuous improvement, the business development activity also has not stopped. We are looking for a bigger order worth Rs. 6 Crores, by March 2012.

At work, not a single day passes by without a challenging event. To be able to withstand this pressure and still live was a challenge by itself. Constant calls from vendors for payments, constant pressure from the banker to pay off my loan, consistent performance demands from the customer, added pressure and made us very inefficient. Despite this, We ensured that the pressure is not passed on to our boys to be able to get best out put from them. All of us expect our subordinates to deliver like how we would, expect them to understand the way we would, take up responsibility the way we would. One thing we all forget that he is our subordinate, which means, due to his or her limitations he is there. A constant mentoring and motivation is required for them to take initiative. A lot of compromises, a number of arguments lost, quiet a few sleepless nights and being receptive to new ideas brought about this change in the function of the organization. To display character and mettle during these tough times was truly a challenge too.

We have been able to build a team of 25 highly enthusiastic young boys, who believe in the organization and its growth plans. The company that was in the verge of retirement has now come to a point where, we can look forward to a big future. Now, we have started looking for other opportunities in the market, where we can extend our services.

I would like to thank my team for having cooperated with me. I also would like to thank my colleague Mr. Raghava for having put up with my idiosyncrasies and still stand by me during the tough times.

My Heart is crying out Loud " I am a helpless Indian"

I follow Times Now very regularly, majorly because my dad loves watching news and to add to it Arnab's arguments and the cadences make the news really sensational. I really dont worry about how much of truth is there in the news that is telecast. More so after watching Peepli Live and  Radia Tapes, we all must realize, very little of the entire spectrum of events is disclosed to the public. Talking of the word, Spectrum, I find it hard to forget Mr.A.Raja. Having eaten all that money, I dont even know how many zeros 1,76,000 crores has, he got a remand only for two days. Just a few weeks ago, half of the amount was swindled by the CWG authorities. I Read an article on Indian express last sunday. It was a very cynical review about the money saved in the Swiss Bank. Sarcasm at its best. Well, I see, very lil light at the end of this tunnel.

Last week, I did not watch much of news, owing to the fact that it was boring. It was the revolution in Egypt. Then, 2 days ago, I watched Times Now again. I witnessed something really interesting. A scam again. Yeaaaaaa. The DEVAS-ISRO SCAM. I jumped on to my seat with all excitement to watch the news. Till such time, I was lazing around and browsing the channels with very little enthusiasm. With big names in the list, like Mr.Kasthri Rangan and others, the news got even more exciting. All the while, Mr.Clean, Dr.Manmohan Singh, who was escaping the scrutiny, is also now in deep trouble.

At home, we often discuss inspiring events, inspiring people and new technology and news. My dad thinks its important to have a grip on multi-various topics. Last night, we were discussing about the scams, and I just realized, the plight of Indian children in the next century. They will read about the scams, money swindling, exploitation of the poor and common man, by the Gandhi Family, while we have read about Mahatma Gandhi, going on starve to Death strikes to get the Nation its Independence. India was ruled by foreigners for years, and now we feel like foreigners in our own country.

Thinking of all this, I drive to my office this morning, I read a note on one of the barricades that the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation uses during work. It said "Your Taxes at Work". Its an irony that we have to read it, despite being aware that our taxes are eaten away by the stray dogs of the country. My heart cried out loud, when I read that note. it said "I am a helpless Indian."

Always give it another chance....

Why I started off this blog is actually to express how deeply I am affected by one event that happened to me an year and a half ago, and how it has turned my life. The incident created a completely disastrous impact on me and made me dubious about the soul purpose of life itself. I met one of my dad's cousins. While he was mentioning about one of his holiday trips in the US and the clearing trail activity, I realized that most of our lives are just similar to that.A clearing trail is a trekking activity, where a group of people walk the trail by clearing up the broken branches and debris and walk up the trail. There are a few signs, which lead you in the correct direction. He mentioned, that only one person in his group was able to lead the group and it took less than 5 minutes for every one else to get lost, because that guy had tried it out so many times, before, which probably means, he always gave it an another chance until he got it right.

The realization struck me like a lightning that I would have been an ass, if I had not given my life an other chance, each time I Failed. As one of my uncle puts it, there is nothing called a failure, it is only a feedback.  A technical example to expatiate that idea. A controller, controls the error, between what is required and what is achieved to make the error zero and reach steady state.  How to control error, is the attitude, we should  be looking for.

In fact, a couple of years ago, I quit. I quit everything, I quit jobs, I quit life and quit my happiness, I quit my passion, I quit my ambitions and goals for a while. Then I realized, I am not my true self when I quit. I just wanted to give my life another chance and prove to myself, that I am strong enough to complete any trail. The clearing part of the activity, is to make the trail look clean when you look back and also to make it easy for a few people who wanna be on your side when you are walking the trail.

Lets all always give it another chance until we get it right.

WAKE UP SID

A while since I patted myself and motivated myself to blog. With the weather getting colder in Hyderabad, the Hyderabadis are staying warm oweing to the heat in the Andhra politics. Surprised to see the way things are turning around keeps us all awake and excited. Mr. Rosaiah's resignation, Mr. Kiran kumar taking over the CM post was not the turn of events. The real twist came from the former CM's son, Mr.Jagan, who resigned and changed the entire political scene in Andhra Pradesh. Looks like about a 50 ministers might resign, owing to which Congress might lose its majority.  Jagan's smart move was quite a check for the Congress. With Chiranjeevi refusing to join the Congress, the strength of the ruling party would decline. Hoping to have Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu as the next CM. In spite of all the good things happening, I am not really worried about who runs the state, but how they do it.
In case of another election, the state will have to spend another few hundred crores on conducting it. Where are we pumping that money from? Will the politicians spend the money they have already looted to conduct the elections? Why use the taxpayer's money? Use the black money and convert it into white? Mr.X, the Home Minister, donated Rs Y for election funds. When we can find loop holes in finding out how to loot, cant we find loop holes in making black, white?
With Media focusing only on A.Raja for the 2G Scam, other big names like M. Karunanithi's have not been brought to light much. Having sold just 5% of the stake of one of the companies that got the tender, M. Karunanithi has made about 8000 Crore Rupees. In 1991, his family owned just rupees 8000 Cores, in 2010, they own 18000 crore Rupees.
1,76000 Crores? that's a figure, I don't even have the energy to count the number of zeros. I am sure it needs a lot of persistence to loot the nation. The public has been persistent enough to take this shit. I don't know when we are gonna raise to the occasion and say enough you old bastards, clad in white uniform, give the nation to us, we ll take care of it.
With 1,76000 Crores, we could probably have two schools in each of the 28000 villages in India.

Wake UP SID.......

Small Inconveniences, Larger Impacts...

I was jus wondering what is so great about my country that I wanna here. Actually speaking, there are a very few things that are even worth mentioning. My home, a few of my cherished friends, and a great history. In fact today, out of 116 countries in the world, India was in 97th position a couple of years ago and now, it could be rated 116 for the amount of corruption and inconsistent policies about the Maoists. Say all this to the public and ask them one question, are you proud to be an Indian, Most of them will come out with one thing," Mera Bharath Mahan" No one even realizes, the impact of corruption on the common man.

If an MP seat costs about 2 crores today, to buy 100 seats would cost 200 crores. As of today thousands of crores of Rupees is being spent on buying the seats and where to politicians go for reimbursement of the money? Tax payers. The price of petrol and other consumables are increased to sky high prices. Who is affected by it, us, the common men. to be able to cope up with the prices, we put in some more efforts and make the extra bucks for the petrol. Remember, the available time per day is limited, only 24 hours. How long will we keep walking the extra mile. Dont we need any rest? We succumb to the inconvenience the government causes. When countries like America and UK are paying Rs 30 for petrol, why should we pay Rs 55? More than one and half times.

Next, the infrastructure, the country's infrastructure is so inferior, that if you have a plan to travel for an hour, you can predict a couple of hours of delay, which means if you have to spend one litre of petrol, you tend to shell out 3 litrs. How much of an economic waste is that. The traffic lights dont work. Even if it does, we dont follow. We occupy the entire road, not allowing the opposite traffic to flow. The inconvenience is never taken seriously. We wait and wait and wait for the police to come and clear the traffic in fact some times, it takes a few hours to get out of a jam. The economic waste is not realized. Irony is, it takes people one hour to fly from Chennai to Hyderabad, but it takes more than a couple of hours to reach their destination in Hyderabad.

Coming to the Common Wealth Games. For a country that is struggling to feed half their population with healthy and one whole meal a day, is a sports event, costing 70000 crore Rupees required? out of which we spend 2 Rs for every rupee quoted. Mr. Suresh Kalmadi, the Chairman of the CWG and his team, has made his country men so proud, that a country that was in 97th rank in terms of corruption could be rated 116 now. What a shame? Rs 1 lakh tred mill, was bought at Rs 10 lakhs on hire basis. Apart from all this swindling, we will have to pay for the tickets also? tax for the infrastructure they have developed for CWG.

Are we to blame the Government alone for all this? No. When we say, India is the largest Democratic nation in the world, we dont realize, we can practice the terms by the book. When the country is being ruled, by rotten, old, blood sucking politicians, whos only motto is to swindle our money, we sit and watch the news over a cup of coffee and some bondas. No one revolts. Forget about revolting. How many of us are responsible? Right from littering in the public, to spitting red pan on the roads, to jumping signals, common men are to be blamed. When we hear an ambulance siren, we dont even make an effort to give way for it. Life means nothing to us. The buses are over loaded. Why cant we wait for the next bus to come or why cant we start 30 mins early to catch a bus that is empty enough? Every morning, the front page of the local news paper, shows, how many ppl die in an accident.

How many of us, respect a pregnant woman and give her a seat in the bus. How many of us respect an old man or a lady. Physically challenged people find it a night mare to walk in the streets. My blood is boiling and unless, we decide to take a step to keep our surroundings clean, help people around us, our country will never develop.

Jai Hind
Happy Independence day

Lets have Suda Suda Dosai and avoid Suda Suda News

Blog time finally arrived with the agitations in Andhra brought all of us a 2 days forced holiday. Finally after a couple of weeks found some leisure time to catch up with some news and good articles in Metro Plus and Education Plus. Sipping a cup of coffee, enjoying an amazing combination, the chill morning breeze, the smell of the print, mom's suvayaana sambar and crispy suda suda dosai. While glancing the paper, I came across an amazing Ad by Amul, "Slice butter, but not the country", there was a picture of India and a golden ring like the one around Saturn, which symbolically represented United India. There was also a caption in addition to all this, "A state of Bliss". Just a couple of statements, but the Ad spoke a lot. Appreciate the man who thought of it. I drove my dad to his office, he wanted to pick up some of his papers, so that he could work at home. While we drove back I was reminded of one of the issues Bharkha Dutt was debating on last evening on NDTV. I have always had great regards for her, because she was one of the reporter present at the Kargil. I felt she was a sensible journalist. Last night after some provocative discussions with the Congress and BJP leaders, she switched topic to Hemanth Karkare's case, who was the martier in 26/11 attack at the Taj Hotel. Bharkha was talking to his wife about the tragic incident. The case was about some sweeper having disposed his bullet proof jacket in the trash. Was is a cover up story or was it really true and in that case who was that sweeper, and how he is involved in the case. It is always possible that Hemanth's wife is not interested in investigating her husband's demise. Amidst the greif and trauma, Bharkha kept provoking as to how she would fight the battle to find out the truth. The moment she used the words, fight and battle, I realized, how insensible she was. Such words provoke any human's subconscious mind and such words would evoke desperation in the woman's mind. As one of the CEO's she might be using her education and experience very well to improve the TRP rating of "The Buck Stops Tonight", but as a human she has lost her modesty. This is so typical of any media these days. I appreciate Obama, when a couple barged into White House, during a dinner meeting, it was blown out of proportion, calling it a security lapse. Obama closed the case and said, we should stop doing the post event analysis and should look at how to strengthen the security than spending our time on this loose talk.

In Iraq, with all the havok and unpleasant scenario, even today, the news headlines in all the news papers is a positive statement. Hope is the essence of life and lets not ruin the essence by encouraging unpleasant news reports.

Alright guys, its lunch time, I am gonna have a good meal and probably catch up with some sleep.

Deposit thoughts to your brain and withdraw the positive ones.from your memory...

What would be the performance of your car if you filled the crank with a couple of scoops of mud...
The same is the effect on the mind's performance when you feed it with negative thoughts.....

Master ' The magic of Thinking Big'

A man went for school and graduated with a honors after 4 years. Before he attended school, he always told his friends that he wanted to start his own business once he graduates. Once he finished schooling, he came to meet one of his friends in his town. The friend asked him, what happened to his business plan. The man replied, saying that he has no idea of starting one any more. His friend asked him why? He said, " All the while, in the last 4 years, I learnt what issues and challenges a start up company could face and all the different ways a business could fail"

Repeatedly sowing seeds of failure in your fertile mind, reaps fruits of failure.

If only the man had learnt or thought about the positive things that might happen to him, he would probably be a successful business man...

Life is about how we live it and not about how long we live -Part 1

Inspired by a couple of books I read last week, I am writing this blog.
Gone are those days, where my blogs extensively contained issues that were closely related to my experiences and emotions. In fact the number of blogs that I wrote were more than the inputs I obtained from different sources. May be this behavior was the outcome of my ego. After having experienced a few setbacks and challenges, I decided to find out what exactly was missing. I resorted to reading. Books have not only been a great source of inspiration but also provided me solace through my valleys. I was amazed by the way things turned up the moment I started practicing a few exercises suggested by the authors.
Every man encounters a number of situations. Some of them gives him happiness and some make him sad and frustrated. The situations may be related to his work or his personal life. Most of the time man blames his circumstances for dearth of happiness and joy. Every one commits mistakes and blunders. It is totally fine to have committed them because that his how he could react to the situation with the awareness and information he possessed. Life is all about how he wishes to pursue his life ahead from the experiences he has had in the past. Now let us focus on the uncomfortable circumstance prevailing over us. Instead of blaming it on some one, lets take a moment and see how we could make the situation amiable for us to learn and find a new and a totally different route to glory. By considering what the truth of the situation is and determining the value the situation could add to our lives. For example, we are waiting for some thing to happen to us and its taking a long time for things to fall into place. First thing we do is resort to the calculative, logical personality, which suggests to us that things should not take this long, why is it happening to me and I dont deserve this. This exactly what I did first and I freaked out. After which, I realized everything around me went out of my control the moment I freaked out and for many things to fall into place it was already late. But then you know, may be for those things that did not fall into place, it had a reason. For all that I know, the situation is prevailing over my life just because there is something I lack and I have to develop that missing link. I realized, I lack patience and I had started depending emotionally on my close family, which I feel is not a virtue of a strong and a composed man. I felt I should make best use of the situation to learn to be a lil patient and make myself peaceful even during these valleys. This starts happening the moment you start concentrating on what I can do for others? for a change the mind stops thinking of you alone. That is when you lose all your ego and start looking at the world around you with a different perspective. Its been a week since I started practicing this and it works. I am much more peaceful than what I was a week ago. Probably this is something that I have to experience while climbing a high peak. This experience will also be useful when you reach the next valley. The more the experiences, the easier it becomes for us to get out of our valleys faster and manage our peaks better.

In case some one is interested this is inspired by a book called ' Peaks and Valleys' by Spencer Johnson

When Bill Gates and Robert T Kiyosaki can be Millionaires...Why Cant I be? Do I need to be the CEO of Microsoft to be Rich?

My journey towards my destiny has not been that simple, In fact today, I don't even know what is in store for me... What is it that drives all of us... What is that, that keeps us active and going? What do we owe this world? or is it that we are just left into a dark maze and jus because we need some light are we sprinting towards it? If that is the case, why do we need light? Is that the purpose of life or is it totally different? Do we even sit back, relax and think, whether this is what we want from life? Are we like the herd of sheep or do we want to live like Lions? Do we realize the purpose of life? Atleast I dont. I am a selfish spoilt brat that wants success by no means. I am obsessed about making it big in life..,. ok now define big? well, I dont know what defines that...A BMW, a Ferarri and a huge bunglow with 5 people to serve you breakfast and 2 people to provide me with a towel for shower and so on....ok now, if I have achived that, will I stop there? or will my greed for success grow? What did Ambani do? Was he content with what he had or did he want more? he wanted more? was it for money or did it have another purpose.. ok if it had a different purpose what would that be? mental satisfaction of providing opportunities for a number of people? It is overwhelming? is it? I know it is... but you know what, I am no philosopher, who says, please donot pursue money, success, fame, career, goals... please do it with your purpose noted. I am not the one who says please be contented with what you have.. because if I preached that, you would call me a saint, which I am definitely not. Go behind what ever you like to be or do, with obsession....Make use of every second to achieve that goal... every single thought must be about achieving that, how and what are the ways to do that.......see yourself 100000000 times in the place you want to be........make it look as if it was achieved with ease...only you know the secret of that success.....make a number of mistakes, never hesitate to learn from them.....correct and recorrect the path...glory is yours...Seriously those people who say money is not at all important to them do not know the value of it...or they are those who have made all that they need and do not care about it any more....Failures call success 'LUCK'.....I call it perseverence....We all know Edison only because he became famous for having invented an electric bulb, but in the process he had 108 patents, which most of us are not aware of...he is known as the scientist but not many of us know he was a great industrialist...he brought about a revolution in Ameican Economy and energy sectors....The topic I have chosen to write is highly complicated....a blog will not suffice my thoughts....I need to write a whole book......Any way....Most of you would have similar questions and answers......What you are is finally what value you add to this world....

Wake Up Sid

I may not be able to claim that, the director has chosen a new concept or the screen play was amazing. It is a mundane story, a lazy boy becoming a successful man, well knit around the main two characters of the film. What makes this movie so special is the setting, camera work, colors, art direction, the couple's chemistry and inspiring music. Shankar Eshan loy have cast their magic charm again on the film.. the movie has both light and heavy moments, the gaps of which is superbly filled by the music. Aaj kal Zindagi and Iktara have the trio's touch in it. The remix version of the Wake up Sid was placed really well in the story. Shankar's rendering as fresh as it was when he came out Breathless, makes the album special. On the whole Wake up Sid is a good entertainer... A new combination of stars, a good attempt by the debutant director Ayan Mukherji....

Forgot to mention, Ranbir's T-shirts were awesome and really really cool... I am trying to find them here...

Watch it and enjoy...

PS: do not expect logic to kick in at any portion of the film...

LUCK I Condemn The Condemned

Shruti Haasan's abysmal performance and Imran Khan the boy next door's expressionless acting is what the movie is all about. Luck, resembles The Condemned, a new concept for the Indian audience, so its appreciable. Actors like Sanjay Dutt and Mithun Chakravarthy have added advantage to the film. I just wished the boy next door was not just a metaphor, and a reality, I would have demanded the money for my tickets back.

Although, the movie was shot in good locales, the fun of South Africa was lost in concept of the film, people get killed diving from a few thousand feet or they get eaten by sharks, or get shot by the trigger of the pistol, All this is determined by their Luck. The concept of internet betting was inherited from The Condemned, although the story had a few changes, and a few romantic moments.

Some times it was amusing to see Shruti Haasan, jus waiting to deliver her dialogues. Her accent and her apprehension to speak is noticable. Sanjay was as usual good in his role, may be because his real life and reel life did not differ much and Mithun's acting was jus like I watched him during 90's.

Music goes along with the gripping scenes. Azma sung by Shruti Haasan is stylish and has an English Tinge, while Sukhwinder sings a bale bale version of Azma.

Decide whether or not to watch LUCK.....if you are lucky to save a few bucks, you would come across my blog and defer to what I say...

discombobulated....

Living a normal life style, following just what the others do, seems a very easy task. A mediocre life with no challenges makes a man so content. Wake up early in the morning, perform your every day chores, have a decent breakfast, go to work, have a good lunch and then come home in the night for your hard earned meal, watch a lil bit of TV, go to bed exactly at the same time you did the earlier night is just so mundane. Infact I wish I lived jus like the others did. What I really want is way too ahead of its time. Success, which is always a future tense. What do you say about it? It is jus a matter of perception. Alright, first of all, we need to define what success is ...like say Making 5 crores of bank balance by the time you retire...excellent, very specific. May be say, a happy family with a couple of kids and some retirement benifits to exist, a lil vague, but its ok. or we can say Wanting to be Ambani or Ferrari. This is setting up a benchmark. Now, first step towards achieving success is to find out what exactly you want? It an amazing question. I have been trying to answer this question for the last 6 years. I have not been able to centre it down to one. My fickle mind has always made me confused. My low patience level has never given me a chance to think over it again and again. What do you want? is the first question we must ask ourselves over and over again to focus our engery and attention to one single goal.

The second step is to find out how? Another challenging question to answer. That needs a lot of home work. Righting down your short term plans, longterm plans and stuff like that. Many books give us the methods of doing it.

There are various books that give us various ideas, all of them have one common thing, belief. I have written a number of blogs before talking about developing a good belief system. The more you believe in what you want the easier it is to obtain. To develop that belief system ha ha....Its all your effort........

Why am I writing this blog? I do not know...Its been a long time since I found any body to babble.... I know I have yapped....its all with a reason......jus wanted to vent my frustration.. found no one to crap my yaaaaap......Here it is....please ensai...

This blog is from the TensNick..totally discombobulated......ha ha confused....

Amusement Park

Seems like I am in an amusement park going on a bumper car ride. Managing people is an art, managing people of your city is strenuous, managing people of your state makes your life miserable, managing people of your nation is unimaginable. I am talking about a country thats infested with machines, thoughtless, their attitude towards their life unimpressive and towards others lives so indifferent. A country where more than 10000 Gods are worshipped, where people fear mistakes, have no control what so ever. From bumping traffic signals to spitting on their roads, make them special. Lane traffic, can never be implemented due to the tremendous amount of population, their civic sense needs to be applauded, their gratitude for others have no boundaries. A country where Mahatma Gandhi was born, a country where legends like Bhagat Singh and Mother Teressa hail from was given to dogs after 1947. Sometimes I wish India was still ruled by the British. Atleast then the rules and regulations would have its regard. People drive on roads, no one's life is made easy. Their acumen and adeptness, make them skilled drivers. Given a chance all of them could be a part of Formula 1. Not concerned about any fellow human, they drive their way to destiny. Whether others reach their destinations or not, we are not concerned. Foolishly standing when the signal's red waiting for others to pass by...educated people, are even more in a rush to get to their work places, their anxiety overpowering their patience. What makes life easy, we have no clue. Our behavior is the reflection of our culture, our up bringing and our historical heritage. Rectification begins from home. Obsession about your own ideas and walking your talk makes us living examples. Lets not advocate our ideas, lets walk it first. Life is a very serious game, its not a bumper car ride.

Lexington-my wonderland

Flew into the wonderland of opportunities
Seeking a future really bright, I land
A wonderful breeze from the bluegrass tickle my senses
A sense of accomplishment fills my heart with pride
Unaware of the adversities, I strutted with confidence
Highly elated I walked in to experience a new culture
Knowledge and wisdom imparted with new style was a piece of entertainment
As said, there is a calm before strong
No later than I felt the joy of learning, I was immersed in an outrageous storm of assignments and projects, which almost choked me to death, when I called out for help
Wandered day and night pondering about my priorities and choices
Notes of Sleeplessness swept in, singing songs of glory
Nights became nightmarish, colors seemed gray and blue
Laughter and tears vanished into the work, like a falling star
there came down the isle of heaven, a paragon
Lord's wand had its charm on me
A selected few from the buzzing lot, offered to help
They brought me joy

In the ambiance of the blue skies

country men are living in the illusion of hailing from the most respectful community, which has rich tradition and culture. We proudly claim to have come from the oldest civilization, a country where administration and planning commenced, a country where wealth and knowledge ruled. This was the first civilization where all the facilities, including the sanitation was made available to the public. There are strong historical evidences of Harappa and Mohenjodaro, having the most planned sanitation facility. Lets halt and stop reveling in the glorious past and look at what India has today? The world's largest urinal, the Indian railway tracks. The fragrance of shit and the ambrosial from the platform chai wala, makes food irresistible. Travel in an Indian train, the early morning sight from the window is really enjoyable. Men and women love defecating in the ambiance of the blue skies. When I traveled in India last time, I came across a mother who would not allow her child into the rest room and the defecation is done only in the compartment. This incident drove me crazy. Of course, the allergies that might clinge on to you if you used the rest room makes it a dangerous proposition. There are many issues related to open defecation raging from health to eve teasing. A number of research work is done indicating these issues. Very few steps are taken to provide solution to this. For most Indians a toilet is the most unwanted place. No care is taken to monitor its cleanliness. Is there no immediate solution to a plague like this. One organization like Sulabh alone cannot cater to the entire Indian population. Probably all schools should shake hands with the organization and educate students about using the rest rooms. It is of paramount importance to promote research and improve the standards of Indian toilets. Some measure has to be taken to be able to clean up the Indian tracks and the defecated solids should not be let out, instead collected and used for generation of biogas or should be converted into ash. Step by step approach will never work. We know there is a plague in the country, would you try and destroy it today or will you wait and make strategic plans? Now lets start reveling, squat is the most helpful position for pregnant women... when are Indians going to change?

Dasavatharam 'A complete mess'

With Dasavatharam hitting the big screens last week, its become an institution in an Indian's life.Kamal fans making a big fuss about the show, hyped the movie's presence in the town even more.technically highly advanced, was the selling factor for the movie.Spun around some normal routine masala, was a spagetti, with some meat balls in it. The sauce was not really tasty. Mallika Sherawat the sex icon was literally a pro in the film, she called herself a CIA agent. The villain was typically an , English movie terminator material . A granny role, really funny and the kalifulla role making no mark in the film.I would say Kamal tried a lot,but in vain.He could not blossom in any role except as Nambi role, which was too close to reality though it was a fictitious charecter. Infact, it kind of gives a feeling that a lot of homework had gone into it.Other than that, with a few typical crazy Mohan jokes, which seemed to have become monotonous over time. Not much of time was spent on details. The movie was all about lot of chasing scenes, kamal and a few screams of Asin. It certainly needed a lot of homework. The screen play was screen misplay, the dialogues were no good and finally coming to animation, was like some 5 year old kidding scribbling his doodles and pasting em all together to suit the film. There is no reason why attention was not given to the technical aspect of the film. Talking about music, was really sick, had one melody, which was sounded like some repeat. One peppy number in which Jayaprada looked really gorgeous making no mistakes in her role, while the singh singer had done a decent job of his role.Looked like he had fixed his mind on the name of the film and so he had to act ten charecters and chaos theory was just all about chaos. Please watch the film now....

Latch on to me, if you cannot walk, I can carry you for a while.....

Engrossed in this mundane life of going to school, research, finding a job, feels like I am lost in a dense forest.Even the movement of a leaf seems like a crouching tiger to me.Fear growing immensely, finding a solution for these things became a huge challenge. No time to relax, with my project coming to an end, I have been working almost 12 hours a day. Completely exhausted after finishing my report on Friday at 7 Pm, I decide to come back home and take off the entire weekend. I went out for a movie called Dasavatharam, which was even more exhausting.Sleepy that I was, I got lost in some distinct thoughts, of getting a reply from the company that just interviewed me last week and about the work that my boss is gonna task me with and some thoughts about some one really special and the nice time I might have with that person if I went back to India. Disconnected, my train of thoughts run on different tracks. What was really exciting was meeting a good friend of mine whom I have not seen for a month. After some kalaai we all departed to our bunkers. I Walked bare foot cos I was too lazy to put on my shoes. I tore my foot. With some blood woozing out I had a band aid on and got dropped home. Appreciating a friend who said he could wait to accompany me home , appreciating the friend who got some cotton and band aid and the friend who says take care for I was in pain, I go back to my bunker.
Regardless of what each one of us in undergoing at that situation, the pressures, the kinda life each one of us is leading, when we get together everything looks so simple and easy.

Its a pleasure to have so many people who care for you.Its really not important whether he tells you he loves you.Its all in the actions.I will now go to sleep in peace, cos now I know, there are so many who are ready to say, Hey, Do you need support? you are hurt.

See what you can learn from every experience, it will be enriching....

The last 3 months of my life has been really hectic.I have been waiting to find time to write a blog.I happened to experience one of the most memorable incidents.I wish to share it, spread some wisdom. Find it comical or thought provoking is our choice. I started to work harder, even after being stressed out due to long working hours, cos I was given a dead line of completing my thesis work by August. Its kind of exciting and exhausting to be in a situation like this.Complete your experimentation, finishing the write up, and applying for jobs.I am not the only one with so many challenges. I know there is much more I will have to face in life if I have to be massive success. I wish I had all the strength in the world. If I were still praying God, I would ask him only one thing, strength and stamina. Now that I don't I have to derive some strength from some energy factors around me, my mom, my dad, my bro and some special people, my friends. Off late, that strength has not been sufficient to to burn all my cylinders.I felt I burnt up all my fuel when, I walked out of my lab 4 days ago. Some thing struck me and I said I would go back to the lab and finish up the rest of the work so that I could complete things faster.I wish this had not happened, but I am happy it did. I broke two components on that day, in the lab.I knew I was screwed.Adrenaline shot up and I was completely perplexed.I was literally in tears.I had to report the damage to my Professor.I did it.I sent him and the next day, I met him. He was really mad at me, but he was so composed and rational about it, which made me even more guilty and he told me all that I had to do to improve further. I realized how much I did not know, and I was humbled. It is surprising to see how much engineering humbles a person. By the time you finish a project you realize how much you don't know. After having learnt, how much of improvement I needed to make, I went down to the lab completely upset and the following weekend I was really upset and was sleepless. The Monday morning was slow, I went to the lab and was making a new cable for my encoder.I observed closely the old cable, and I found that the copper wire inside one of the wires had broken. OOOOOOOOOOOOops crazy and I used the new cable and the old component worked. I ran to tell my prof and he was happy I had not broken them. Now I did some post event anaysis to find out what actually happened. Now I did some post event analysis,
I realised it was such a nice feedback from him, I understood how much he wanted me to work.I dont blame him, he is my teacher and he would say anything only to make me better. It gave me a paradigm shift and my work has certainly improved after that.I am sure he must have noticed it.I am happy for what happened that day and everything in life is a learning experience, believe in that, you will go great heights.

Constrain yourself by constraining your thoughts

I have been waiting for the last one month to find some nice topic that I could write on, I have found one.Over the last one month I wanted to take control of my life since life has been controlling me for all the while.I am not the kind of person who believes in destiny. I have a unique perspective about life.We get what we want, only if we want it baaaaadly. It is completely wrong. We get what we want only if we love it, only if we are passionate about it.
I have been "studying" a book lately"I can make you rich".It has become my geetha....Lemme make sure I convey the message to the world. Most of us are intimidated by something that is very simple to do-Imagine.Jus nothing forming images in our minds.

I am sure all of us want to become rich make loads of money to live a happy and a prosperous life. When we are asked how much money you wanna make, we would not know.We give a vague answer. There is no clarity.Clarity makes sure we know what we want, which is the first step.

Coming to the actual reason why we dont make all the money we need to live rich?Is it because we are not managing money well?Is it because we dont love it?Is it because we dont have all the luck in the world to have the money we want?Is it because we are not qualified to make so much money? Is it because our job does not provide us an opportunity to make enough money?

None of the above is the answer.
We dont see ourselves making so much money. We have constraints. We dont wish to think beyond our limits. Why do we have limitations in imagining ourselves to be big?Our scociety is encourages people to be humble about their achievements but people mistake it to being humble about what they want to be. All of us have a tendency to say, I am never gonna make as much money as Bill Gates or Ambanis or the TATA.We are all scared make images of ourselves making so much money. We limit our imagination to buying cars,we dont even think of buying a Mercedes, we have limitations, because we are afraid we cant make it.

People, a thought just struck me.Since we fear we cant make it so we are not able to.If we think we can thats possible too.Thats the power of imagination. Our subconscious is really powerful.Any suggestion given to it will be dealt with great regards and it will see to it that we become what we strongly believe we would be.Keep making images of yourself becoming what you want to be in your head and reinstate it again and again. You will certainly get what you want.

Once you start doing it make it more specific to time. This is how you achieve massive success.

All this is not jus about making money it applies to other things too.

Spread your imagination to larger horizons, relax your thoughts.Have not constraints in thoughts you will have no constraints in your achievements too.
